Fig. 3 shows a power window motor (taken from unused automobile) attached on the artificial shoulder which is being used to move the AHG. The motor enables the AHG to move from 0 degree to 90 degree clockwise and counterclockwise as shown in Fig. 4. A stopper mechanism is designed to limit the movement for only up to 90 degrees according to rotation. Through experiments, the friction created during the movement of the motor was detected, and this problem solved by lubricating the surface involved.
