Based on the above results, we can confirm that after a compara-
tively long time culture, the MKN45 cell lines could grow in our SF
scaffold, most importantly, in a three-dimensional growth mode. In
the following study, we will investigate the proliferation of seeded
cells in long term culture within SF scaffolds and further verify
whether the SF scaffold has the cytotoxic effect. By adjusting the
initial cell number and minimizing the growing time, our SF
scaffolds would be a promising tool for tumor cytology research
and chemosensitivity test in vitro.
