Comparing the kinetic curves obtained at 130 C and at different M/S ratios, the highest yield of oil is obtained at M/S = 1/20 g/mL. It seems that at M/S = 1/10 g/mL not enough water is provided for the removal of the protein phase, which consequently resulted in lower oil yields. Interestingly, at M/S = 1/30 g/mL a decrease of total oil yield can be observed, although a higher seeds to water ratio was provided, than the optimal M/S ratio of 1/20 g/mL.
