One Tambon (meaning sub-district) One Product (OTOP) policy and its development
increase the local product values which integrated culture, technology, society, and
economics to create both innovation and incomes. This includes history, tradition, and
culture of the community to apply with the identity of the local products. The supporting
and the development should come from both government sector and small community
enterprises. Labels is an important part to promote sales and to advertise the
products. Each product should have at least one logo or label to make consumers remember
the product and its brand. The researcher sees the importance of the label development , so
this research investigated the identity of local products can promote
and develop using the English language through product labels of Local Yet
Global.OTOP didn't want to sell only in the country, but want to sell all over the world, so the language on the label should be adjusted to the international standards.
