A portion of a cobalt(II) chloride solution calculated by Eq. (1) was stirred with a weighed portion of
Porochrom-3 or Polisorb-1 under continuous stirring.
After that, the mixture was evaporated on an electric
hot plate to a free-flowing state, dried in a drying cabinet to a constant weight at the temperature 280°C for
Porochrom-3 and 150°C for Polisorb-1 and the mixed
phase, to ensure the removal of crystallization and
adsorbed water in the case of Porochrom-3 and to
avoid the inhomogeneity of the application a liquid
stationary phase film onto the support. The mass of
the applied salt was calculated from an increase in the
adsorbent mass after its screening through a sieve with
pores smaller than the size of Porochrom-3 particles.
The adsorbents obtained were packed into stainless
steel columns (1000 mm × 3 mm).
