Huck utilizes a number of highly focused performance
and incentive-based measures, including
a profit sharing program. The profit share of
middle managers is typically based on the achievement
of negotiated MBO type goals. When the
ERP implementation project began, the involved
middle managers objectives were changed to the
single goal of successful system implementation.
Additional specific performance measures were developed
to measure and motivate the entire work
force during the implementation, even as previous

goals and objectives were maintained. The expectation
was that the increased efficiency due to the
new system would more than offset implementation
costs.
