There must be clear evidence that there is a formal and trained ergonomics team at the plant. All Plant Ergonomics Team members must have a record of training . The training must include basic principles, hazard recognition, use of ergonomic risk assessment tools, and should include a hands-on portion. A refresher for the whole ergonomics team is required every three years. New members must be trained thouroughly upon entry into the Plant Ergonomics Team. The team must include individuals from different functional groups within the plant.
