Instructions for lesson 6:
1. Students are going to perform in class.
2. Friends have to record videos of the performances in classroom and post in the group. (If you forget or fail to do so, you may be asked to redo:-( ( sorry for that).
3. Students should prepare for all situations ;-).
4. Your teacher will randomly assign situations (two different situations individually) to both the students of a pair.
5. The partners should not know the assigned situations before performing. That means students have to start performing immediately after the situations are assigned. Preparation should be done individually as homework. The situations should be understood out over the conversation.
6. Every performance should last for at least 4 minutes. That means that the conversations should be very naturally developed. You can not begin the conversation by telling your partner about what has happened to you. That has to be revealed in the middle of the conversation (after one and a half or two minutes).
7. Performances should have informal beginnings but formal endings.
8. Students should try to speak more than 80 words per minute (to develop fluency).
9. Just speaking is not the aim but showing ability to build up good conversations is expected from English major students.
10. Hope, you all will be prepared :-)
