In this paper, we report on the synthesis of CaWO4
nanoparticles with perfectly crystalline morphology and
homogeneous chemical composition by a molten salt method
at a low temperature as 200 -C. This method has such
advantages as simple instrumentation, easy manipulation, low
temperature and short holding time, and would be available to a
large-scale production. Although the compound WS2 containing tungsten was successfully prepared [12], to our knowledge,
no such studies on CaWO4 nanoparticles have ever been
reported.
