Wang Nam Keaw is a tourist attraction south of Nakhon Ratchasima, not far from Bangkok. It is known as 'Switzerland in northeast Thailand'. It’s a unique and naturally charming spot amidst luscious green forests. Wang Nam Keaw, means the green pond in Thai.
The area consists mostly of high hills, resulting in a cool climate all year long with considerable amount of rainfall and morning mists.
APART from the glorious natural surroundings, Wang Nam Keaw also offers a variety of other interesting tourist attractions. For natural highlight, Kao Pang Maa is where travelers can observe a herd of wild bulls and other wild animals. Tub Lan National Park provides you with trekking and bird-watching before admiring the breath-taking sunset at Keb Tawan Cliff. Also, the beauty of various waterfalls such, as Huay Yai, Huay Kamin, and Suan Hom are especially glorious if you choose to visit in the rainy season when the water is in full flow.

Wang Nam Keaw Vineyard is very famous. Suchada Park boasts multi-colored beauty of its several species of flamingo flowers and an organic vegetable plantation. Loong Grai Garden has the most famous organic vegetables available for visitors to try and to taste. The latter attraction also offers musical entertainment in the form of country songs while visitors enjoy the fresh air and peaceful atmosphere of the green plantation.
Nakhon Ratchasima consists of five sub-districts: Wang Nam Kew, Thai Samakkee, Udom Sub, Wang Mee, and Ra Rerng, and is surrounded by Nadee, Pak Tongchai, Pak Chong, Serng Sang, and Kornburi.
