The price which we quoute to you was the best offer from us. Honestly, we have no room to cut down the price. There were 2 reasons, playing an importatn role with the cost.
1) We agree that the material was dropped down. Material cost was only 30% of total manufacturing cost. As you know that especailly labour cost, we cant keep the same rate as.
I belived we are the same position.
2) Due the material dropped down, PTT is main player to sale the material in Thailand, which are monopoly. With the new price for 2015, we have already deal with them, but the 1 lot which they can delivery is the beginning of March. We can’t wait for the long lead time. We had already import the material form Singapore rather waiting.
However, the price is a little bit higher, we have to buy in order to keep factory run and maintain our current customer.
We totally understood the situation. We did not make a lot of profit from this type of order, due to you are our priority customer with good relationship.
If you have target price and we can share some cost together, we ready to deal with you.
