It can be seen from the curves (Fig. 1(c)) that TP was rapidly
consumed in nearly 10 days with the removal efficiency of 98%
on average at 1.4–13.1 mg/L TP. The removal efficiency of TP
reached 98%, on average, at 29–174 mg/L TN. The change in TP
was similar to that of NHþ4
–N in the RN245 test, which declined
from 19.6 to 6.8 mg/L, with a removal efficiency of only 65%. During
this process, the pH fluctuated between 6.5 and 7.5 (data available
in supplemental materials).
