Dear Mr. Paitoon,
attached you will find the email I sent yesterday to SCT, I fight those days with our suppliers to avoid additional delay caused by the problems we had in the parts, parts are ready this Thursday.
I will be back in hk next Monday evening at site Wednesday 19/03 if nothing happen.
I have some questions concerning sales gas in order to save time, those simple operations can be performed without my presence at site:
-last September my colleague Mr. Pietro leave the site with sales gas pre test all done, motor rotation, valve functionality, all clean and dry inside the unit both gas side and crankcase side, he also inform UAC and SCTto keep the unit constantly refilled with nitrogen to avoid oxygen go inside, can you politely confirm if this has been done?
-if you are not sure or if you cannot confirm that, I need somebody that remove the valve cover of the low pressure cylinder for a quick inspection, if there is rust there, we need to clean the unit properly before starting otherwise the rust will kill the liner in a matter of weeks.
-I fixed personally the problem of the oil unit about the water go inside during heavy rain and I tested two times, but you never know, there is a plug on the bottom of the oil unit with a hexagon socket head nut on it, is needed to slowly turn the nut without disassembling to investigate if there is water inside.
-Also pneumatic valves had problem due to the rain, we fix them during the last visit of Mr. Pietro, so I assume they are fine but I appreciate if is possible to test them in manual before I will come.
-It passed one year from the date of the delivery of the unit at site, a check to the suction filter element is necessary.
-Remove insect nests from all the motors fan, is a very common problem in Thailand after a long stop.
-Open compressor crankcase and make a picture of the inside.
-Motor running tests, only utilities ( water, oil, cooler ) not main motor.
-Last question is concerning the high pressure line after the compressor and before the filling points, after the hydraulic test a test with gas or nitrogen has been done ? Has the line been drained properly using compressed air?
Let me know your comments
