1. I look for enthusiasm in your Proposal and in your behavior. If you really want to do this project, make sure that your excitement shows. If you’re not excited about your project idea, no one else will be either. Choose something you care about and show me that you really care about this topic.
2. Be prepared to be flexible about details: some aspects of your project proposal may not be practical or may not fulfill the project goals. I will work with you to sort out options.
3. Share your proposal with your parents, teachers, advisors, field experts or another adult who knows you or the area of topic well. If you get feedback from people who care about your success, your project will be much more enjoyable and valuable to you. Make sure there are a few people (2-3 persons) informed about the topic.
