2.6. Total polyphenols (TP)
Total polyphenols (TP) were quantified using Folin-Ciocalteu
reagent as described by Singleton et al. (1999). Absorption was
measured for the sample at 760 nm using spectrophotometer
(ThermoSpectronic Heios , England). Analyses were run in triplicate
and results were expressed as mg of gallic acid 100 g−1 FW.
