Dear Resident… Dog Owners,
We are asking for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
During the last two weeks we have posted information on the announcement page of the Emerald Resort Website that you may have missed. The purpose of this letter is to explain the responsibilities of the Emerald Resort Housing Estate Juristic Person, Board of Directors (committee) which is to Manage, Supervise and Maintain the Public Utilities and Public Services in a good state for All Members to utilize at all times. Article 5. Para 3.
Residents have the right to utilize the Public Utilities and Public Areas within the Housing Estate, in reasonable means, and shall not cause damage to other Members’ rights or to disturb or cause danger to other Members, and to comply with the Regulations, as stipulated by the Board of Directors (committee) or the General Meeting of Members. Article 25.
The committee has decided that for hygiene reasons all dogs must be kept off the grass surrounding the club house and pool. Recently dog’s feces has been found near the children’s play area and amongst the trees beside the road. Dogs are often allowed to urinate on the grass surrounding the pool where other residents and children walk and play. This is unhygienic, totally irresponsible and must stop.
Also to protect resident’s rights the committee have decided that all dogs must be kept on a lead and under the owners control at all times when exercising within Emerald Resort. Recently dogs have urinated on other resident’s private property which is totally unacceptable. If it becomes necessary to take further action it will be done under Article 29.
The dog free zone does not include the car park or the large park in the center of the Resort. The dog free zone has been marked on a plan and posted on the club house notice board.
Please be responsible, think about other residents and be considerate towards them. The consequences of a resident or child getting dog feces on their foot and jumping into the pool are unimaginable! Finally if your dog defecates within the resort please pick it up, put it in a plastic bag take it home and place it in your bin.
To be sent to all dog owners in Emerald Resort.
Might be worth sending a copy to Brian and the guy Steve’s dogs peed on his sand.
