self-leadership is the learned ability to intentionally influence ourselves to achieve our objectives; it is the foundation of personal, team, business, and strategic leadership. self-leadership is a learn able science-based competence that helps its practitioners become better communicators, team collaborators, and leaders of teams be able to learn equally from successes and mistakes; and become conversant on how to best utilize our own strengths. Self-leaders are effective at deciding on and reaching personal and professional goal, and they also inspire others to transcend in their own personal and professional lives. People are different from one another: some of us may have degrees of self-leadership, and others don't. wherever your self leadership level is or isn't, it can be improved. Encouraging self-leadership within a team or organization leads to more collaborative, committed, and engaged employees.
