Corporate Secretariat and Shareholder Services under Corporate Governance is taking charge of performing shareholders’ services support and secretariat role of the Bank. One of its main functions is to develop related policies and operating guidelines to promote the good corporate governance for both the Bank and its Group companies, ensure the prudent governance and compliance with enforced regulations and synergy between the Group Companies and the Bank. This unit is supervised by K.Suchewin Chantrasuriyarat who directly reports to Head of Corporate Governance and Chief Executive Officer, respectively.
According to BOD No.12/2011’s resolution on 22 December 2011, the owner of Consolidated Supervision Policy has been shifted from Risk Management to Corporate Governance (CG). Consequently, CG as a new policy owner is also acting as centralized unit to develop guideline/ practice on monitoring representative directors to ensure that they are well aware of their duties and acting in line with the Bank’s Consolidated Supervision Policy.
