There is a new chiropractor in Sihanoukville, and it turns out he's a famous Australian called Mark Coutelas, known in the 80's and 90's as SOLO MAN from soft drink commercials.
Mark Robert Coutelas was arrested in Phuket, Thailand for the first time in May of 2014 for possessing an illegal handgun (9mm Glock 17), bullets and methamphetamines.
He was released on bail and was arrested AGAIN 2 weeks later with more meth!
According to Captain Somdej Saraban with the Tourist Police, "We got a tip-off that Mr Coutelas was selling ya ice," so they sent in a plainclothes officer to buy meth from him and they found 2.45 grams of ice on him in his apartment.
Mark Coutelas was charged with possession of a Category 1 drug with intent to sell."
2 days ago on August 30 Coutelas started offering chiropractic treatment though a company called "Back Pain Solutions Sihanoukville."
It appears he was locked up in Thailand from mid 2014 and was released on parole in late 2015, and is now residing in Sihanoukville, Cambodia.
Phuket News reports they went to his apartment to arrest him (the first time) because they were tipped off that he had a gun.
They found crystal meth in his pockets, and Coutelas tried negotiating with them, telling them he'd tell them where the gun was if they didn't charge him with drugs, and it turns out he was sitting on the gun the whole time.
Good to see Cambodia continuing to attract famous Westerners from all over the world with dubious pasts to come set up shop here. One more point for Sihanoukville while Phnom Penh and Siem Reap keep their unblemished records.

Not sure if I'd let him "tweak" my back, but if anyone is brave enough, let us know how it goes. Getting arrested for guns and drugs twice in Thailand and serving ONLY 2 years is quite an accomplishment.
Here's some pics of his arrests:
