the result was in agreement with the above-mentioned conclusion obtained from adsorption kinetic. the order of phosphate adsorption capacity could be attributed to two aspects. On one hand, the order of adsorption capacity could be ascribed to the higher surface area of fe3, which produced more active sites for phosphate adsorption onto its surface. On the other hand, as XRD pattern and magnetic curves showed, fe3 had larger content of non-magnetic LDH phase.
