Dear Mr Traisit
I am Robin working in Nissan Technical Centre Europe – pleased to meet you.
I would like to ask for some technical help regarding the part 54614 3WF0A CLP-STAB part that BMW supply to Nissan.
As you know, this part has been used on J02C vehicle, but will now continue to be used B02E (new Micra vehicle).
My request is relating to B02E project.
Please refer to my attachment, I would like to understand the current condition of the manufactured parts with regards to the relative position of the two holes in part.
If possible, I would like to request a reduction in the tolerance.
Please can you review, and feedback to me?
Currently total tolerance possible for misalignment of the two holes is 1.05. I would like to try to reduce to 0.5 (±0.5 position tolerance for one hole)
The reason for the request is that when I do a drawing tolerance total stack up of the CLP-STAB and the MBR ASSY-FR SUSP (mating part) then I predict that we may have some problems when assembling the stab bar to the vehicle (misalignment of the holes making difficulty in locating the bolt).
Your help would be much appreciated.
