• 96 thermocouples (TCs) with mineral insulated (MI) cable bayoneted in the bulk material of rear panels, 32 TCs on leading edges, and 8 TCs on electron dump inner panels; these sensors will detect beam divergence, horizontal, and vertical misalignments.
• 67 MI TCs clamped on cooling tubes for calorimetry.
• Up to 56 electro static probes bolted on the front panels to investigate beam neutralization and space charge compensation.
• 7 single ended fiber Bragg grating (FBG) accelerometers to detect subcooled boiling conditions at the 5 cooling outlets of the high heat fluxed leading edges(5 accelerometers); these signals will be compared with those of vibrations on cooling manifold (1 accelerometer)and on support structure(1accelerometer)to filter possible noises.
• Return grounding current matching the neutralization current.
