Was Just informed by K. Gay (HR Supervisor) that the Visa for our 2 Chinese Chefs have not been done as told and previously told that everything was OK.
K. Gay told me that she called the person who’s in-charge of this matter this morning while she’s off today to check that what’s the situation so far. The answer was vague during the phone conversation that’s why K. Gay had to make decision to force open her drawer to get the Chef’s passport books to check that where we were and founded out that the said books have not been stamped yet.
So, this issue is being fixed now as Chef Chong has to fly back to Malaysia tomorrow. K. Gay said, if we had to re-do this process again, it would take more than a month to get the Visa stamped on the passport books. K. Gay also said, The best solution so far was the Company (Rajpruek) would have to pay for the fine of 20000 Baht for Chef Chong to the immigration before flying back to Malaysia as per the Thai law, at the same time, there must be someone (maybe from HR) to go along with Chef Chong to the airport to guarantee that Chef Chong has been working for Rajpruek and needed to fly back to his home country to do things as planned. Besides, there must be someone (Big Shot) at the immigration who had to approve this request as well.
So far, GM is still contracting someone who is big shot in the immigration dept., to help solve this problem at the immigration and complete all the process there.
Chef Lieung, is another 20000 Baht that the Company (Rajpruek) has to pay to the immigration as the problem is the same
Hope this helps
