Dear k. Nilawan,
Thank you for this. It is good work, but unfortunately I cannot adjust the score for the addressed items. As I can see you really did a lot in a short time, I do provide you below detailed motivation of it.
As a general note to explain: an audit is a sampling activity where items are observed at the moment of auditing as good as possible. That is recorded, and leads to a result.
I do give people the opportunity to give feedback in case if something is really missed during the audit, and/or there is some language misunderstanding (for example: wrong description in document versus what happened in reality).
Regarding security, I appreciate the effort in having a documented briefing with the team, but this was done after the audit. Therefore I cannot accept this as evidence. Also reading the English translation, one of the key points is not mentioned in the team briefing… what staff need to do in case an unidentified person is inside the distribution center, a strange packaging is observed on the dock, staff have the idea if something ‘strange’ (for example: suspecting theft) is going on in their department. (… and maybe something else relevant to your distribution center)
This must be not only briefed in a team meeting, but also be documented as part of the formal training material (induction & retraining).
With reference to the ‘before – after’ corrections you have done already. It is really appreciated. But for me to have a good picture, I would need to re-audit the site to have the right impression of the total facility. As mentioned above, an audit is a ‘sampling activity’. This means, we try to have an idea of the total operations based on the sampling. It is therefore difficult to judge the corrections in the total view, just based on the photo’s and without visiting again. Also here applies that the corrections were done after the audit.
Hopefully this clarifies.
Kind regards,
Tim
