The focus of this week was looking at how to warm up before each practice session and tournament round. Concepts around the most functional techniques to use to activate the correct muscle groups and provide the golfer with the best possible opportunity to perform were discussed, demonstrated and used. These warm ups are now expected for all golf sessions both at the academy and in tournament situations.
Further to this Tournament Preparation was outlined and appropriate research into the upcoming tournament ranging from course details, previous tournament results to weather forecasts were discussed. This is now expected to be completed one week prior to travel to the tournament.
