The performance indicators used for power performance analysis of DSSCs (dye-sensitized solar cell) were the power yield and power generation efficiency. The power yield (energy yield) is an indicator of the power generation per unit capacity (1kWp). In this analysis, however, the DC output was used to calculate the power yield, so it can be regarded as equivalent to the array yield. The power efficiency is the ratio of the power output to the irradiated solar radiation for the PV module. In this study, power efficiency analysis was performed by calculating the gross area (cell area in module, 0.593 m2 ) of the PV module separately rather than the total area (module area, 0.941 m2 ) of the module. The power yield and power efficiency were analyzed by calculating the average daily value of each month. The formulae for calculating the power yield and power efficiency are as follows:
