Corrupt Payments
International anti-corruption laws don't just ban making direct cash payments—they prohibit providing, offering, or even implying that you will provide anything of value to a government official for the purpose of obtaining or retaining business or directing business.
There is no set monetary amount that defines a payment as corrupt. And note that the UK Bribery Act makes it illegal to bribe anyone in the course of doing business, not just government officials.
