2.3.3. Dielectric property measurements
The dielectric properties of samples were measured at 25 °C and
2450 MHz by using a network analyzer (Model: E5071C; Agilent Inc.,CA, USA) and the open-ended coaxial probe method (HP 85070B
dielectric probe kit). A schematic diagram of the equipment used to
perform measurements is shown in Fig. 2. The measurement system
consisted of a network analyzer, a coaxial probe, and an external
computer with specific software installed. The open-ended coaxial
probe was a cut-off section of a transmission line. The diameter of the
probe was 20 mm. The material was measured by touching the probe
to the flat face of the A. bisporus slices.
