Though it is rural university, it is surprising to note that 100% of the Ph.D scholars are fully aware about the modern information technologies available in the libraries. Table IV represents it. Then the respondents were asked to specify their usage of the above technologies for their research work. The results are shown in the Table.V.
Computer is the most important source of information for these respondents. 85% of the respondents frequently use the computer and its facilities for their research work. Less than 50% of the research scholars frequently use the telecommunication and its facilities. Followed by more than 50% of the respondents frequently use the photocopies and also internet. 30% of the respondents never used the multimedia facility, 30% of the respondents used rarely and 30% frequently.
