pomegranates cultivars are graded as sweet. However, there is
limited information regarding the effect of MAP on the phenolic
compounds and antioxidant activity of sour–sweet pomegranates
during long term storage. The aim of the current research was to
investigate the effect of two MAP on the quality parameters,
physico-chemical composition, phenolic compounds, antioxidant
activity and organic acid contents of sour–sweet pomegranate cv.
Hicaznar during 210 days of storage and shelf life conditions.
