I'm having a rough time pegging down the difference in assumptions/data restrictions for these two credibility calculations.
Is it simply that the measure of exposure is embedded into the process variance of the Straub credibility?
In Pr Ex 3.9 I don't see anything stopping us from using Buhlmann. I keep thinking that we do or don't have enough data that is why we choose Straub, but I haven't put my finger on what that data element is.
If anyone can offer insight I would appreciate it.
