By solving equation (2), all the forces acting on push rod at lower A-arm end as well as at bell crank end were
obtained. It was found that the force -Fpb acting on the bell crank by pushrod isn’t coplanar with the bell crank. So to
balance the torque about the hinged point of bell crank, the component of -Fpb, lying in the plane of the bell crank
was calculated.
