Inhibition of Water chickweed ALS activity by tribenuron
The total ALS activity was similar between the S (SD05) and R
(HN02) populations (Table 4). However, the in vitro ALS assay indicated
that ALS extracted from the R plant populations was much
less susceptible to tribenuron in comparison to the S population
(Fig. 2). As shown in Table 4, for HN02, the I50 value was
51.32 lM. However, for SD05, the I50 value was 0.60 lM. The
respective I50 value for R population (HN02) was 85.53-fold greater
than that of the S population (SD05).
