The average size of sawdust particle is shown in Table 2, and the
temperature profile of the sawdust combustion is shown in Fig. 7.
The total period of combustion was short when compared to other
fuels, and the difference between volatile gas combustion and char
oxidation is less significant. The reason for such behaviour might be
due to the size of the particles and the fact that the combustion
system is originally designed to burn saw dust.
