1 SHIP REFLOATED
When a message is received from a ship that it has touched ground / been
aground, the following will be initiated :
1.1 If the ship has no significant damages
1 Inform owners to notify underwriters and give all known information.
2 Contact the ship and clarify;
- type and extent of possible damages to ship and any imminent pollution.
- if the voyage can be completed or survey should be requested in the first
ordinary port of arrival/the ship sails for port of refuge for survey.
- If there is a need for repairs or other assistance in the port of
destination/port of call/port of refuge.
3 Keep the ship informed about actions taken and give instructions about
further measures to be taken to contain the damage and pollution.
1.2 If the ship has sustained damages which affect her seaworthiness :
1 Immediately inform Owners to notify underwriters and give all known
information.
2 Contact the ship and clarify
