Justin Timberlake has opened up about his drug habits in a candid interview with Playboy magazine in its July issue.
The 30-year-old singer-actor admitted that he was stoned at the time of a prank pulled Ashton Kutcher's Punk'd TV show, where the TV pranksters pretended to be government agents seizing all Timberlake's property, including his dog, because of unpaid income taxes.
Timberlake was completely taken in by the hoax and appeared to be on the verge of tears at one point during the episode.
The incident led him to briefly reconsider his enthusiasm for marijuana: ''I actually stopped smoking pot for nine to 10 months after that. I was so stoned,'' he said. ''If you ask my friends, if they're honest, they would probably say that's the only way to get me as dizzy as I was.'' He's since taken up the habit again though. Asked by Playboy if he is still a "pot-smoker", the singer answered, "Absolutely".
"I have a brain that needs to be turned off. Some people are just better high," Timberlake explained. The only topic Timberlake objected to in the thorough interview was rumours linking him to women such as Olivia Wilde and his Friends with Benefits co-star Mila Kunis.
