The larvae were fed a diet that composed of
50% of rice bran and 50% of dried
Spirulina sp. (about 1.3 g) once a day. After
3 days, B. thailandensis larvae were
approximately 0.3 cm (body length) and
were ready to be used in the experiments. M.
macrocopa with a body length of 1.3 mm
was obtained from an aquatic animal diet
shop.
