Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, the parent company of Ferrari, announced October 12th that it will be selling off 9% of its shares to the public market of the New York Stock Exchange. The company plans to raise around $1 billion dollars that will allow them to produce an all new vehicle brand based on Ferrari. Sometime in the next few months the NYSE will see a new symbol in its midst that will not be easy to forget. That symbol will be “RACE”. No better symbol could be chosen for a brand with a racing heritage like Ferrari.
