According to the conducted study, the introduction of the plant based polyol into the composition of RPUF was demonstrated to have a substantial impact on the properties of the obtained materials. The analysis of infrared absorption spectra showed that the degree of phase separation decreased along with the increasing content of rapeseed polyol. An increasing content of the petrochemical polyol in the polyol premix was identified to induce formation of more hydrogen bonds connecting the rigid segments in the material. The thermogravimetric analysis indicated the correlation between the increasing RP polyol content and the overall thermal stability of the obtained materials as well as the decreasing amount of the easily volatilised products. The analysis of the DSC thermograms suggested that the increasing content of the vegetable polyol results in the decreasing degree of the physical crosslinking in the material, which lowers the glass transition temperature of the rigid phase in RPUF and indicates the plasticizing properties of the vegetable polyol. Additionally, the samples containing high ratios
