OPENING YOUR SAFE FOR THE FIRST TIME
Upon first opening, you have two options to open the safe.
OPTION A:
·The safe has been supplied with an jack hole of external power, push the switch button and insert the 9v batteries into the jack hole of external power.
·Press “#” to startup the electronic lock.
·Enter preset user code “1234”, then press the “# “ key.
·If designed without handle, turn the master key clockwise, the safe is open now. If designed with handle, turn the master key clockwise, then turn the handle clockwise.
! the safe doesn’t include 9v battery.
OPTION B:
·Push the switch button of emergency cover to pop up the emergency lock cover(refer to image2), then remove the cover and use emergency lock.
·Insert emergency key, turn it anticlockwise, turn the master key and handle clockwise to open the door. If without handle, insert master key and turn it clockwise to open the door.
CAUTION: Please pull out the emergency key and keep it in a safe place. Either the electronic circuit malfunctioned, or codes unknown, you can open the safe as the first time OPTION B. If the safe is out of battery, you can use both OPTION A and OPTION B to open the safe, when you know the code.
INSERTING THE BATTERIES
·Open the door.
·Insert 4AA batteries into the battery compartment. When batteries are inserted, the display will flash "GOOD", and then the system is actuated to scan the circuit. After that, it will be in standby mode, while showing year, month, date and day.
·Under normal condition, if the display shows “LO-BATTE”, it means the voltage is low and you should insert new batteries.
CAUTION: Replace 4 fresh batteries by lining them up in a manner as indicated by the “+“ and “ - ” signs.
OPENING DOOR
·Press key "#" (the light shines yellow).
·Input your 1-8 digits user’s code within 7 seconds and press "#" to confirm.
·Clockwise turn the key in position within ten seconds, rotate handle(key) clockwise to open the door.
CAUTION: You may press the key "*" to clear any incorrect digit you have input. One digit will be cleared each time when you press the key.
CLOSING DOOR
·Whether designed with handle or not, close the door and turn the key anticlockwise to lock the safe.
SETTING THE USER CODE
·Firstly press key "#", the screen will flash yellow backlight and shows "......".
·Input preset code and confirm by "#". If the buzzer sounds, the screen shows "OPEN" and turn to blue backlight at the same time.
·Please press key "*" within 7 seconds and the display shows "......". Now input 1-8 digits code and press "#" to confirm. The display will read “INTO”, which means the setting is accepted. Then you can use your safe box by new password.
CHANGE THE USER CODE
·Press the re-set button when the door is open, and input new 1-8 digits code, then press”#” to confirm. The display will read”INTO”, which means new code is accepted.
SETTING THE MASTER CODE
·Firstly press key "#", the screen will flash yellow backlight and shows "......".
·Input correct master code and confirm by "#". If the buzzer sounds, the screen shows "OPEN" and turn to blue backlight at the same time.
·Please press key "*" within 7 seconds and the display shows "......". Press 1-8 digits at random, and press “#” button to confirm, the screen show “INTO”, which indicates the acceptance and storage of the new code.
CHANGE THE MASTER CODE
·Firstly press”#”, and then press”0” twice, then press the re-set button, after it, input the new 1-8 digits master code, press”#”to confirm. The display will read”INTO”, which means new code is accepted.
CAUTION:
In the station of no power, press the re-set button, till you insert the battery, and display shows”clear”, then release the re-set button, now, it will recall the preset user code “1234” and master code “123456”.
SETTING DATE AND TIME
·When the standby mode, press the key “*”. Input the Year-Month-Day-Week-Time(in total 11digits)
For example:13032621744 means:13-year, 03-month,26-day,2-week,17-hour,44-minutes), after entered 11digit code, the system will be verifies automatically)
·During set date and time, press”*”button to back one step.(for deleting if wrongly entering)
TRACKING DOOR OPENING RECORDS
· With the door open, after the “OPEN” disappear, press “0” once when the screen on blue.
·The display will show the last door opening record. ( year, month, date, hour, minute, week and code to open.)
CAUTION: “ PASS 1“ means the door was opened by master code, while “PASS 2“ means the door was opened by user’s code. Press “0” before “PASS 2” disappear, the display will show the last but one record, the last 14 records can be tracked at most.
HIDING THE CODE WHEN OPENING THE SAFE
If the customer wants to hide the code when input the code on the keypad, could follow these steps each time before open the safe.
·Press key "#" (the light shines yellow).
··Press key “*”before press the code, then the screen will not show the code.
ALARM DEVICE
If the wrong code is entered 3 times consecutively, the alarm will sound for 60 seconds.
If press key "0", the display reads "BELL ON", which means the alarm device is activated. The alarm will sound for 60 seconds when been shaking, striking and moving. The sound will stop 60 seconds later.
