A method for the computation of the ac current and dc voltage harmonic generated by a capacitor filtered single-phase rectifier is presented. The approach employs numerical iteration to determine the diode conduction and non-conduction period, and steady state solutions. Based on the determined conduction intervals, harmonics of interest are solved analyticallythrough a state augmentationmethod. The results have been validated with those of PSCAD/EMTDC to show the accuracy ofthe method.
