The role of recitation input in college English teaching
This paper investigates the role of recitation language input in college English teaching by theoretical research and authentic proof. By means of examining the test performance, retrospective recalls and reports, it testifies that recitation language input facilitates the acquisition of language chunk, enhances the language sense, and improves oral fluency and the ability of translation. What's more, it inspires students' confidence in language learning. The paper also implies that with the application of modern teaching theory and teaching aid, the traditional language teaching method should not be totally abandoned.
