The experiments were carried out at different gas flow rates: 0.25, 0.5 and 1.0 slpm. The primary objective was to determine the influence of the particle (film) mass transfer resistance on the adsorption by ACF. In each test run the bed temperature was held constant at the reaction temperature of 50 °C. The weight of the sample and the inlet gas concentration were kept constant at 5 g and 10,000 ppm, respectively.
