have subjective complaints of dizziness and dysequi- librium, motion sensitivity, oscilopsia, gait ataxia, and imbalance,14 and pharmacological and surgical inter- ventions have limited effects.15 Thus, there has been increasing interest in the use of vestibular rehabilita- tion for the treatment of vestibular dysfunction.16, 17 Previous studies indicated that vestibular exercises improve balance and quality of life and decrease diz- ziness and the risk of falling.The Cochrane review, which evaluated 27 randomized studies of vestibular rehabilitation on unilateral vestibular dysfunction that included 1668 participants, reported that vestibular rehabilitation provides resolution of symptoms and improvement in functioning in the medium term.
