The world's youngest tour musician has held a charity concert for the people of northeastern Japan, hit by a huge earthquake and tsunami 3 years ago.
Ethan Bortnick is a 13-year-old American pianist who holds the Guinness World Record title for the youngest musician to headline a solo concert tour.
About 650 people gathered to hear him perform in a college hall on Wednesday.
Bortnick played the piano and sang classical standards and a Beatles number, "Here Comes The Sun."
He played with college students and finished the concert with his own tune.
He sang the lyrics in Japanese, about the power of self-belief.
A 20-year-old student from Fukushima Prefecture said he was moved by the performance. He said it encouraged people trying to recover from the impact of the tsunami and nuclear accident.
