With the support of the European Steering Committee ( ESC), the first end-user and distributor global key accounts to be managed by the new WE Strategic Key Account organization have been identified. The end-user customers are: Airbus, Ericsson, Fincantieri, Safran and Bosch. In addition, we have prioritized four transnational distributors: Wurth, Brammer, RS Components; and both Amazon BISS ( B2B) and Amazon.com ( B2C).
Some of these accounts have existing 3M global key account managers and it is my pleasure to announce that they will join our new organization. Jean-Paul Galletier (Airbus) and Nicklas Blank (Ericsson) will report to me, as will Alessandro Bruggia for the portion of his time that he spends managing the Fincantieri relationship. The global managers for Safran and Bosch will be announced in due course.
Roland Mueller (Wurth and Amazon BISS) will report to William Roussay in his role as overall Corporate Transnational Distributor (TND) manager, as will Michele Atlan for the time she spends managing the relationship with Amazon.com. William himself will manage the relationship with Brammer while the global key account manager for R S Components will be the subject of a future announcement.
Whilst all key account managers will report into the new organization and will be required to sell the “Big 3M” by leading cross-divisional projects, they will identify resources from across the company that are needed to build strategic, value-based relationships with the identified accounts and drive accelerated growth.
A clear focus on Sustainability and Design are hallmarks of most global companies and our prioritized strategic accounts are no exceptions. Both Sustainability and Design can be the catalyst to build value for our customers and stimulate growth and we have well-established teams in West Europe in both functions. To ensure we can integrate 3M strengths in these areas into our overall offer, Richard Miles, WE Business Leader, Sustainability will maintain his dotted reporting line into me, whilst Monica Dalla Riva, WE Design Leader will also be aligned through a dotted line relationship. Rich and Monica maintain their primary reporting into Gayle Schueller, VP Global Sustainability and Eric Quint, Chief Design Officer respectively.
Sales Training team lead by Eduard Van Engelenburg will remain within the Commercial Excellence organization under Dirk Lange's leadership.
Please join me in wishing all new team members well in their roles and my thanks again to the ESC for their support in getting the new organization off to a quick start.
