2.2. Web-based portionThe second portion of the app is a web-based app that allowsdata to be submitted directly from the mobile app to a server inthe cloud. The data is not stored on the server so the information is confidential. It supplies the user with the relative frequenciesof M-stages or signs of chronicity per scoring event and predic-tions of future frequencies by applying the DD Infection Model.The web-based app’s user interface has two sections: the left panelincludes the user adjustments and the section on the right displaysthe results (see Fig. 1B). The user interface slider can be used toselect weeks of interest from the data set. The number of boot-straps that are used to make the predictions can be changed bythe user depending on their needs. A dropdown menu of variables(i.e., herd name, herd code, pen, signs of chronicity, Cow Type, andscorer) is available to split the data into subsets to view their resultsseparately.
