Dup-dup… dup-dup… dup-dup…
“Can you feel it now? Do you remember now? The very same feeling I gave you on the first day we met seven years ago. Did I give you the feeling of first love?” Min Ho asked with a very seductive voice, looking deep into her large beautiful eyes.
Shin Hye gasped softly, unable to respond to what he said. There were standing right in the middle of the studio and although all the staffs were not there, she still has to push him away before anybody come in. But no matter how hard she tried to bring herself back to her rational senses, she just couldn’t bring herself to look away from him. His gaze was so intense and sharp, like it has suction in his eyes, consuming her soul slowly.
“That storage room was very small and we have to squeezed ourselves tightly together. Just like now, our face was just inches away, breathed in each other’s scents. I still remembered you smelled like lavender, sweet and fresh.” Min Ho paused as he inhaled deeply before he smiled. “You still smell the same. Just like how I remembered you were on that night.”
Shin Hye held his gaze firmly, parted her lips slightly. “I thought except for my recklessness, stubbornness, you don’t remember anything about me on that night.”
“Don’t underestimate yourself. You have no idea what kind of effect you can bring to me. You don’t know how hard I need to control myself from doing something that will ruin our friendship in the past.” He said, still looking deeply into her eyes. He doesn’t want to give her any single chance to escape.
“Then why are you doing it now? Everything you are doing now is ruining our friendship.” Shin Hye said softly. When he was far away from her, she wished she could have him with her. But when he is this near now, she wished he could take a step back. She is afraid. Afraid that if she is not careful enough, their crystal-alike relationship will be shattered and she will lose him again.
Min Ho pulled back slightly, gently took her hand and pressed it against his chest. “You were very scared that night. But you forced yourself to be brave and didn’t let yourself to step back because you believe good one will always win the bad one. You looked so relief when you saw me. I don’t know what make you so confident but I can see the trust in your eyes. You trusted me and believed that you will be safe with me.”
A soft smile slowly spread across Shin Hye’s face. He was right. She always feels safe being with him.
He slowly moved his other free hand to her cheeks and caressed it softly. This gesture has been his favourite lately. Touching her smooth skin, feeling her warmth could make him feel real, make them feel real. “Although the storage room was dark but I can still see your face blushing that night. Your breathing was shallow and you were very nervous. I thought it was because you were scared of the guys outside but I was wrong. It was because of me, right? You were nervous because of me.”
When she didn’t give him a reply, he tightened his grip on her hand that was pressing against his chest. “Everything was still the same like that night except for the speed of my heartbeat. Can you feel it? The speed is racing tremendously by seconds. I’m nervous too.”
Shin Hye inhaled a soft breath, looking at him with a slight confusion in her eyes. “In case you forget, we are in a middle of a photo-shoot and your photographer is very angry with me for giving him my robotic smile. Telling me all this will only make me more nervous and it’s not helping.”
“You are wrong again. I’m actually helping you now.” Min Ho said with a smirk.
“How?” Shin Hye asked, confused.
“By making you nervous, making your heartbeat raced, making you blushed. And brought you back to the memory lane on how we met. I’m reminding you how you felt when you first fall in love. I was your first love.” He grinned when he saw her face was now flushed in deep red. He sighed softly as his fingers gently traced her jawline. “I won’t apologize for not falling in love with you on the first time I met you. It was your fault. You should have appear in my life earlier and take my heart away first.”
Shin Hye let out a soft chuckle as she glared at him playfully. “You are blaming me for being late?”
Min Ho laughed too but then, the smile on his face slowly faded and replaced by a serious expression. “Although it’s late, but this time I was the one who give you my heart willingly. What I’m doing now is not ruining our friendship. I’m just bringing us to something better, something that we could have each other forever.”
She could feel her heart skip a beat when he said the word forever. It was scary but at the same time it make her heart fluttered. If this is a dream, she hopes she will not wake up and the dream will never end. She forced herself to look away and bit her lower lip. “D-Don’t you think now is not the right time to discuss about… forever?”
“Hmmm…” Min Ho pursed his lips and nodded. “You are right. A moment like this is more suitable to do something more romantic.” Just when he finished saying the last word, without giving Shin Hye a chance to react, he bowed his head down, captured her lips with his, taking her breath away.
Moving his hand to her back, he pulled her by her nape, bringing her away from leaning against the wall and pressed her tightly against his chest. He licked and nibbled her lower lip teasingly, making her lips parted slightly to allow his entrance. He felt home when their tongues met, tasting each other’s sweetness. Kissing her has been his latest addiction. If he knows kissing her feels so good, he should have done it years ago.
After what seems like an eternity, they finally pulled away, panting heavily. Their need to breathe is overwhelming them. Shin Hye slowly looked up at him and hit his chest softly. “You are terrible.”
Min Ho laughed. “But in a good way, right?”
Shin Hye bit her lip again and smiled shyly.
He leaned closer and caressed her blushed cheeks. “You see. Who say your smile is not pretty? This smile can kill all the men in this planet.”
Shin Hye laughed and hit his chest again.
“Hold that smile and show that William how pretty you are. Kick that arrogant jerk’s ass and rock the photo-shoot.” Min Ho said supportively.
She took a deep breath and nodded with a smile, a smile that melt Min Ho’s heart all over again.
