Another issue that has a significant influence in the Britain economic is the migration of labor resource from the European Union member countries. As a member of the European Union, there is free to immigrate to work and live everywhere in member states, “One of the main principles of EU membership is "free movement", which means you don't need to get a visa to go and live in another EU country.” (Brian Wheeler & Alex Hunt, 2016). Subject to the European Union law, Britain cannot prevent anyone from other member country to come to live in the country. The result has been a huge increase in immigration into the Britain. Leaving the European Union will restrict and can reduce the immigration of people from the rest of the European Union to come to UK. “According to the Office for National Statistics, there are 942,000 eastern Europeans, Romanians and Bulgarians working in the Britain, along with 791,000 western Europeans” (The Week, 2016). These seem to be the problem to the Britain because the migrant workers from the rest of the European Union will damage the employment prospects of Britons’ low-skilled labor and cause lower in wage rates.
