Sitemaps are supposed to utilize the fewest words and the simplest language
to describe complex ideas to the user. With a sitemap, a user should be able to answer
the following questions: where am I now? How do I get to where I want to go? Where do
I want to go? Where will this icon take me? (Danielson, 2002). Lynch and Horton (2009)
see web navigation as a kind of spatial way-finding behavior.
